What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! Which is apparently only four outfits this week. :)
I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course. Spring in Denver means weird weather. One day it's 75 and sunny, the next it's cold and snowing. Which means I can't stop wearing my winter clothes just yet.

Outfit #1

Starting off with a snowy day and layers.

Tank - Target / Jacket - Gap / Skirt - Bopeau / Boots - Guess

Outfit #2

A warm day! This shirt is much more fun than the pic indicates. It's three separate layers of chiffon - the black on top of an off white on one side and then on top of another off white layer. They overlap in the front and the back is just a single layer. Very cute and on sale!

Top - Target - $16.08 sale from $22.99 / Necklace - from a High Point, NC boutique / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #3

And another cold day!

Sweater - Old Navy / Scarf - H&M / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Anne Klein

Outfit #4

Another cold day and I needed to dress nicely for a client meeting.

Cardi - Target / Shirt - Croft & Barrow / Pants - CAbi / Shoes - Nine West

That's it for this week! I honestly didn't do much this weekend, so no outfits to show from them and I prepared this post a day early, so I'm missing one work outfit that will be included next week.
Hope you enjoyed what I put together and I'll see you here next week!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, so be sure to check out all the other bloggers' outfits by clicking on the link to the right.

Outfit #1

Every time I wear this skirt I remember how much I love it and how comfortable it is, but for some

Shirt - Old Navy / Tank - Target / Belt - ? / Skirt - Nic & Zoe / Tights - Assets / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #2

Pardon the hairdo here. I was getting my hair cut and highlighted this afternoon and just didn't feel like dealing with it. These shoes! Love! These are another pair just rescued from storage and one that I hadn't forgotten. :)

Shirt - Loft / Tank - Target / Necklace - Charming Charlie / Shoes - Stuart Weitzman

Outfit #3

This is what I wore to Junior League's big fundraiser. I still love it and it is so comfortable. I also got lots of compliments on it. :)

Dress - Eliza J / Shoes - Kate Spade

I don't usually show my outer wear, but felt this coat deserved it. It was handed down to me from John's partner's Great Aunt. Totally random, I know, but no way was I turning down Escada! And I think it's really pretty.

Jacket - Escada / Clutch - Charming Charlie

These are the shoes that precipitated my search in my storage unit. :)

Outfit #4

Nothing really special here, just comfortable after a long night at The Journey.

Cardi - JCP / Tank - Target / Jeans - J. Jill / Belt - Coach / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #5

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I just got this green dress and I love it. It is really cute and comfortable. I actually already have a green dress, but I don't particularly like it, so I didn't feel bad getting another since it didn't cost much.

Dress - Target - $17.48 sale from $24.99 / Cardi - Target / Necklace - Charming Charlie / Belt - Target / Shoes - Cole Haan

Outfit #6

I always feel pretty in this skirt. It has such great details!

Shirt - CAbi / Necklace - Loft / Skirt - The Limited / Tights - Assets / Shoes - Coach

That's it for this week! See you back here next week for more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

When I packed this outfit for John's house, I thought it would look best with black, but now I think it would look better with brown. It also has grey in the pattern. It's kind of fun and almost reminds me of camouflage. I also wanted to wear a contrasting wide belt with it instead of the self tie, but I didn't have one at John's. Oh well.

Dress - CAbi - $27.99 Sale from $108.00 / Tank - Target / Tights - Assets / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #2

Hmmm... this pic was the best of the bunch and it's still a little fuzzy. Sorry. This is one of my go-to outfits now and I really like it. :)

Jacket - Classiques Entier / Tank - Target / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #3

I really would have preferred different shoes with this outfit, but I didn't have many options at John's, so these had to do.

Top - Old Navy / Belt - from a skirt / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #4

I can't tell you how excited I am to bust out my more spring-like jackets!

Jacket - St. John's Bay / Shirt - Rebecca Beeson / Jeans - Levi's / Boots - Guess

Outfit #5

The other day I realized that I was missing a pair of shoes I desperately needed for our big Junior League fundraiser this week. I knew I had another big box of shoes in my storage unit, but I'd never been able to find it. But I needed the pair of shoes, so I went there on Sunday and moved literally 1/4 of the boxes in there and eventually found the big box of shoes. SO WORTH IT!!! I found these cuties along with a bunch of other great shoes I'd been missing and some shoes I'd completely forgotten about.
And look, it was nice enough for capri pants! A win all around!

Top - Target / Cardi - Target / Belt - from a dress / Pants - Loft / Shoes - Adrienne Vittadini

Outfit #6

A totally simple outfit designed specifically around spotlighting these shoes!

Another pair I just found, and one of those I forgot about. Though how I could forget about Burberry, I don't know! And I feel like these are very winter shoes, so I need to get to wearing them before winter is over!

Shirt - CAbi / Tank - Old Navy / Pants - CAbi / Shoes - Burberry

That's it for this week! See you back here next week for more outfits, including what I wear to our fundraiser. :)

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course, so click on the link on the right to see what all of the other bloggers are wearing!

Outfit #1

Nothing new or different here, but it's a good go-to outfit. And since I had to plan a weeks worth of outfits because I was staying at John's, simple was best. So was a limited number of shoes and a lot of black, so I only needed one purse and coat. :)

Top - Apt. 9 / Blazer - Talbots / Belt - Coach / Pants - Land's End / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #2

I love this dress. I love the way it fits me, I love the animal print, I love the pockets. Love, love, love. :)

Dress - Target / Turtleneck - CAbi / Belt - from a skirt / Tights - Assets / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #3

Another day of animal print!

Cardi - Apt. 9 / Tank - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Steve Madden

Outfit #4

I was going out for a belated birthday dinner with Michelle this night, so I wanted to be a little more fun than just my usual tights. Polka dot fishnets fit the bill! And dinner at The Kitchen was fabulous!

Dress - Loft / Cardi - J. Crew / Belt - from a skirt / Fishnets - ? / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #5

It's feeling a little springy around here. At least for a day, anyway! Time to bust out the spring colors!

Cardi - Target / Top - Target / Necklace - Charming Charlie (I think!) / Pants - Style & Co / Shoes - Coach

That's it for this week! See you back here next week for another week of outfits!

Currently...

1. Loving - Hulu. It's the only way I can keep up with my shows when I'm housesitting at John's. And since it's totally cold outside, I'm fully enjoying being a slug and watching shows all day.

2. Finishing - Just finished watching Parenthood from this past week.

3. Eating - Nothing at the moment, but for dinner I'm going to make green chile chicken sausage. Yum!

4. Hoping - For my Junior League policy review to magically finish itself!

5. Wearing - This is a bit embarrassing, but I never got dressed today, so I'm still in my pajamas. :) But I did add a cardigan! It's slug wear at its best!

6. Watching - Up next on the Hulu queue is some Chicago Fire.

7. Reading - The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison

8. Trying - To figure out why I can't stream the news on my laptop anymore. It works on my Kindle Fire, but not here, even after making sure all my programs are updated. Who knows. I'm certainly not a computer expert!

9. Learning - How to write policy. It definitely takes a different kind of mind than I have.

10. Wondering - What clothes I'm going to pack for my second week at John's. I wonder what's clean at home?

This is a new post I'm going to do on the first of the month. Somebody I know does it and I really like it, so I hope you do, too!
