What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! Linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course.
Spring has been coming and going in Denver, which makes me sad. I'm so ready to say goodbye to winter! This weekend I changed out my closet, though, so when it's cold I just have to layer up!

Outfit #1

This was such a nice day that I busted out the flip flops!

Top - a.n.a. / Jeans - Levi's / Flips - Tory Burch

It's time for bright pink toes, too!

Outfit #2

I absolutely LOVE this outfit! I modeled it after an outfit I pinned on Pinterest and I think I was pretty successful! I was at a new member recruiting event for Junior League this night, so I wanted to make a good impression.

Dress - Jones Wear / Belt - from a skirt / Blazer - Talbot's / Necklace - Stella & Dot / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #3

This might be one of the last times I wear this dress. I still really like it, but the lining is becoming completely shredded. I don't want to cut the lining out because I think it's really needed, but I also don't want to pay for new lining to be put in. :(  I love the combo of navy and coral, too!

Dress - Daisy Fuentes / Belt - Target / Necklace - Charming Charlie / Shoes - Nine West

Outfit #4

A beautiful spring day calls for bright colors and pin-dot ruffly tanks!

Top - Calvin Klein / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - J. Crew

As much as I love the color and style of these shoes, they are really not comfortable. The heels come up really high in the back and are always giving me blisters, no matter what I do. :(

I matched the shoes with these cute earrings from Charming Charlie.

Outfit #5

This is another outfit inspired by a pin on Pinterest. You'd think something as simple as this wouldn't need an inspiration pin, but we all get into funks. Finding a way to pair my old standbys in a new and just slightly different way is what I really like about Pinterest.

Top - H&M / Cardi - Matty M / Pants - Gap / Shoes - Steve Madden

Outfit #6

As you can tell, the last couple outfits with layers mean cooler days here. Sad.

Tank - Old Navy / Jacket - Gap / Scarf - Asos / Skirt - Bopeau / Boots - Guess

That's it for this week! I'll see you back here next week for more outfits!

What I Wore

It's that time again - another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course.

Outfit #1

I have to tell you that for most of this day I actually went around with the jeans rolled up and wearing my Superga tennis shoes. I was on a jobsite, trampling around my client's house measuring all sorts of things, and heels just weren't appropriate.

Jacket - St. John's Bay / Shirt - Daisy Fuentes / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Anne Klein

Outfit #2

Pardon the weird blips from the flash. I couldn't get them to go away. :( This was such a comfortable outfit. I'll definitely wear it again. Everything is lightweight enough that it will be fine well into spring. I wish you could see the ruffles down the front of the shirt - it's really cute!

Cardi - Target / Tank -Target / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #3

I usually wear jeans on Fridays at the office, but we had a meeting with an architect, so I didn't want to be too casual. I'm not sure why I feel that need since she is the least stylish architect I have ever met...

Jacket - Gap / Tank - Old Navy / Necklace - gift from Michelle / Skirt - Target / Shoes - Steve Madden

Outfit #4

My Easter outfit. Just as good for Easter as it was for St. Patrick's Day. :)

Dress - Target / Cardi - Target / Belt - Target / Shoes - Steve Madden

Outfit #5

Wow, these pants look really faded in the photo. I'm sure that's pretty realistic since I've had them forever.

Tank - Target / Cardi - Target / Necklace - Forever 21 / Pants - Daisy Fuentes / Shoes - Marc Fisher

That's it for this week! Hope you enjoyed my outfits and I'll see you back here next week!

What I Wore

Hello, hello, hello! Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, so be sure to check out all the other bloggers' outfits by clicking on the link to the right.

Outfit #1

This day my boss and I went to a little party/line showing at the Design Center and we had a photo taken of us there. My hair looks 100 times better here. The joy of having fine, thin hair is that it never keeps its volume throughout the day. :(

See how flat my hair is?!? UGH!

Top - Lauren Conrad / Belt - from a skirt / Cardi - J. Crew / Skirt - Loft / Shoes - Nine West

Here's a close-up of the shoes. They've got cute contrasting stitching. They are not really all that comfortable, though. The heels are really loose and slip off even with heel liners. And because of the small platform, they're pretty heavy. I actually don't think I'm going to keep them for much longer.

Outfit #2

I really like the grey and camel combo here. :)

Dress - J. Jill / Belt - Target / Boots - Duo Boots

Outfit #3

You can't see it well in the photo, but this top is a peplum and has tons of vertical pleats. Very cute.

Top - Target / Cardi - Target / Necklace - Forever 21 / Pants - Target / Shoes - Calvin Klein

Here's a not so fabulous selfie that shows the necklace a little better.

Outfit #4

This sweater used to have a single big snap at the neckline that always bugged me and deterred me from wearing it. I finally decided to take it off and now I'm much happier wearing the sweater! :) And by the way, this is my hair when I let it air dry without any product.

Top - Old Navy / Cardi - Leo & Nicole / Jeans - J. Jill / Shoes - Target

Aren't these ruffly yellow flats cute?!?

Outfit #5

I think next time I wear this sweater, I'll pair it with black pants to see if I like the combo better.

Sweater - Coldwater Creek / Necklace - boutique in High Point, NC / Jeans - J. Jill / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #6

I love bright pink!

Top - Target / Belt - from a skirt / Pants - J. Crew / Shoes - Coach

That's it for this week! See you next week with more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, so be sure to check out all the other bloggers' outfits, too!

Outfit #1

It's still chilly here, so layers are a must. But it's spring and I want some brightness in my life!

Top - a.n.a. / Cardi - Target / Pants - Joe Fresh / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #2

This day we were expecting 1-4" of snow. I shoveled at least 8" off the super heavy spring snow off my car. The weather people sure got that one wrong!

Top - Target / Skirt - Talbot's / Tights - Assets / Boots - Ros Hammerson

Outfit #3

I got this sweater/suede coat thing at Junior League's Second Time Shop for not very much money, though I can't remember how much I paid now. It's actually pretty olive green in color, though it looks kind of grey in the photo.

Coat - Coldwater Creek via STS / Tank - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Boots - Michael Shannon

The boots are actually mules. They recently came out of storage and I decided that I needed to wear them to determine if I still didn't like them. Yep, decision stands. They'll be going away soon.

Outfit #4

I am absolutely in love with this striped blazer. And I especially love it paired with my polka dot heels!

Jacket - Target - $34.99 / Tank - Old Navy / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Liz Claiborne

Seriously, how cute are these?!?

I know it's not much, but this is all I have for the week! Come back next week for more!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

When I'm picking out my outfit, I never notice that my blacks don't match. Then it's all I can see when I'm wearing it. And of course the photo shows it, too. I know I need to get over it, but it's always been an "issue" for me. By the way, this necklace is a multiple strand, paper bead necklace made by women in Uganda. It's really pretty and I got a ton of compliments on it.

Top - Target / Cardi - J. Jill / Necklace - gift from Michelle / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Steve Madden

Outfit #2

I kind of forgot I had this dress. John would like to think that it's navy, but it's black for sure. I also realized this day that I need to have the lining hem taken up a bit as it shows no matter what I do.

Dress - Target / Tank - Target / Belt - Target / Shoes - Charles David

Outfit #3

Usually I don't like skirts this short, but for some reason, this one has always been okay for me. And considering I only wear it in colder weather with tights, it's definitely fine.

Top - Semantiks / Skirt - Jennifer Lopez via Kohl's / Tights - Assets / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #4

And here's the first of a lot of jean outfits.

Top - Old Navy / Belt - ? / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Calvin Klein

Outfit #5

Casual weekend wear. Went to see Divergent - good movie of a book I loved. I recommend it!

Top - Target / Cardi - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Superga

I'm sure you've noticed that I'm not much of a tennis shoe girl, but these I love. They remind me of highschool, when I wore Jack Purcells.

Outfit #6

See, lots of jeans! And I didn't even mix it up by wearing different jeans - they're all the same pair!

Top - Worthington / Necklace - gift from Michelle / Belt - Coach / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Prada

Outfit #7

And one more jeans outfit! I promise to mix it up more next week! But really, since I was wandering around the exterior of my client's house taking measurements, jeans were the way to go. I should not have been wearing wedges, but that's okay. I didn't break an ankle or anything.

Top - Elle / Cardi - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Calvin Klein

That's it for this week! See you back here next week for more outfits!
