Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I was house sitting for my boss, so you'll notice that most of my pics have a much nicer background than usual. I kind of like how neutral it is, but alas I have since returned home to my regular background of my green bedroom. :)
I'm linking up with Real Girl Style and the Pleated Poppy, so be sure to check them out!
Outfit #1
I wore this to work and then the Junior League's General Meeting. We were taking our "all Board" photo (kind of like a class photo), so I needed to be dressed nicely. I've had this dress for years and love the fit and flare style and of course the pockets! It has a matching fabric belt, but I wanted the structure of a leather belt this day.
Dress - Ralph Lauren / Necklace - Stella & Dot / Belt - ? / Shoes - Tahari
Outfit #2
Another work day. I didn't recall that I needed to wear a tank under this top, but the neckline is way too deep to be office appropriate, even if I was in there by myself!
Top - Talbots / Tank - Target / Pants - Old Navy / Shoes - Candies
How good of me to match my toes to my outfit!
Outfit #3
I hadn't actually planned to wear this outfit - I wanted to wear white shorts and a white tank, but for some reason those just didn't look right with this top and I had a design event to go to in the afternoon where I knew I wanted to be cute and comfortable. In the end, this didn't fit the bill even with the revisions. I was hot with the long sleeves and layers, and my feet hurt from walking around the Design Center for half the day in sky-high wedges. Oh well.
Top - The Limited / Tank - Old Navy / Capris - Dockers / Shoes - Sam & Libby for Target
Outfit #4
Another outfit that I didn't like that much. It's tough planning out a weeks worth of outfits without bringing any backups. This just didn't look as cute on as it did in my head.
Top - Joe Fresh / Tank - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Black Rooster
Outfit #5
Michelle and I went down to Castle Rock to shop at the factory stores. Dangerous! Though I did actually keep myself mostly in line. I got this cute patootie dress (which they shockingly had in my size!), and decided it needed to be worn right away on Saturday to the Junior League recruitment session. It seemed sort of dressy for a Saturday morning thing, so I added the jean jacket and flips to dress it down a bit. Hopefully I made a good impression to our potential new members! (More pockets!)
Dress - J. Crew - $29.98 sale from $138.00 / Jean Jacket - Gap / Flips - Coach
Outfit #6
And here's my other J. Crew item. I've loved this sequined chevron tank for ages but no way would I pay full price for it! Surprisingly, they had this at the factory store. I'm glad I was able to try this on before buying it, though. If I had ordered this online I would have gotten a size larger, and that would have been a mistake. This smaller size is definitely large enough! (Happy day!)
Tank - J. Crew - $20.98 sale from $88.00 / Skirt - Bopeau / Flips - Tory Burch
Hope you enjoyed my outfits and that you'll come back next week!
