What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore!
I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

I wore my jean jacket over this for part of the day, but the outfit definitely looked better without it.

Top - Target / Necklace - Second Time Shop - $5.00 / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Tory Burch

 Outfit #2

I always pair this sweater with this dress and shoes. I should mix it up some time. :) But I really am a creature of habit.

Dress - Target / Cardi - CAbi / Shoes - Bandolino

I love the design of these wedges.

Outfit #3

I wore this to a casual family dinner and for one of the first times ever, I was probably the most dressed down person there. Pretty funny. :)

Top - Coco & Chase / Tank - Target / Shorts - Lee / Flips - Tory Burch

Outfit #4

Sunday Funday - met a Junior League friend at Starbucks to discuss a job and then went to the Greek Festival with Michelle's family.

Tank - Coldwater Creek / Skirt - Target / Flips - Tory Burch

Outfit #5

Shhhhh..... I wore this dress to an interview. It would be a career change if it happens. It went well, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet. But the dress - fabulous! I love the stitching on it. It has pockets. I think it's really quite flattering.

Dress & Belt - Evan Piccone / Shoes - Vince Camuto

That's it for this week! See you back here next week for more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore!
I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

I love this dress. It's really comfortable and pretty casual, even if it doesn't look like it - it's only cotton. It has pretty trapunto stitch detailing along the neck and hem. I've had it for years and I hope it doesn't wear out too soon.

Dress - Target / Necklace - Loft / Shoes - Tory Burch

Outfit #2

This is the same t-shirt with the cute crochet detail on the shoulders that I wore last week.

Top - Target / Scarf - Target / Jeans - J. Jill / Shoes - Nine West

These shoes seemed more comfortable last year. I still like them, but need to remember not to wear them if I'm going to be walking a lot.

Outfit #3

It was pretty hot this day, and I thought that all this flowy stuff would be okay, but I was too hot. I seriously don't know how people wear scarves all summer long.

Top - Worthington / Scarf - JCP / Skirt - Bopeau / Flips - Tory Burch

Outfit #4

I wonder how my polka dot heels would like with this mini-dot print dress? Too many dots?

Dress & Belt - Corey P / Shoes - Tahari

That's it for this week! I'll see you back here next week with more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I'm so, so late in posting this, so I apologize! I've been busy with tons of Junior League stuff.
Of course I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy!

Outfit #1

I love this dress on hot day! It's very lightweight, but doesn't cling to my bad areas. :)

Dress - Lauren Conrad / Belt - Charming Charlie / Shoes - Target

Outfit #2

My boss has issues with this shirt because the zipper has an exposed bright pink placket. He thinks the trend is really about lazy design. Hmmm...

Top - Target / Pants - Lee / Shoes - Jessica Simpson

I love all the different materials on these shoes. There's two more you don't see here - the wedge is different and then the insole is leopard print. :)

Outfit #3

I got this shirt on my recent shopping trip to JCP, and it was totally on sale along with everything else I bought. It's bright and summery. I love a good sale!

Top - Liz Claiborne via JCP / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - J. Crew

Outfit #4

I dislike my hair here, but I was just heading to a friend's block party this night. Wish I had known the local fire department guys were going to make an appearance!

Top - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Target

The top has fun crochet-like details on the shoulders.

These shoes are just like a designer shoe I saw recently, but totally cheap at Target! They're pretty comfortable, too. :)

Outfit #5

I love this dress, but I was so self conscious with the keyhole. Seriously if I had any bigger boobs, it would have been indecent when I was sitting.

Dress - J. Crew / Belt - from a skirt / Shoes - Calvin Klein

I actually wore the blazer most of the day because it was pretty chilly for a while.

Outfit #6

My favorite pairing - stripes and polka dots!

Top - Target / Necklace - Charming Charlie / Belt - ? / Skirt - Loft / Shoes - Liz Claiborne

That's it for this week! Hope you enjoyed my outfits! I'll see you back here next week for more!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another edition of what I wore! I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

I shouldn't have gone shopping, but I wanted a new maxi dress. Instead of that, I got this! It's difficult to tell, but the pattern is made from the black leaf pattern and the burn out of the dress fabric to show the nude liner fabric. It's really quite pretty.

Dress - Liz Claiborne via JCP - $33.99 sale from $80.00 / Shoes - my Aunt's

Outfit #2

I loved this outfit last year and still love it this year! The combo of bright yellow with the aqua just works for me. I do wish I had remembered to bring the fun yellow necklace I used to wear with it.

Cardi - Sonoma / Tank - Old Navy / Pants - Liz Claiborne / Flips - Land's End

Outfit #3

We had our last Junior League event of the year down at the Brown Palace, and I wanted to dress up a bit. I had planned to wear a different dress that I haven't worn yet, but it didn't fit that great on the top. (I've never actually liked the top of it anyway, so I think I might have it altered to be a skirt.) Thankfully, I had this here as a back-up!

Dress - Danny & Nicole / Shoes - Michelle D

Outfit #4

It's hot here. Wearing this belt was suffocating me, the shoes were making me sweat, and the strapless bra I was wearing was so ridiculously uncomfortable. Needless to say, all three were off as soon as possible. :)

Dress - Target / Belt - Target / Shoes - Calvin Klein

Outfit #5

An even hotter day. I can't wait to get back home so that I can have complete access to my shoes and I don't have to wear pumps when I want sandals.

Top - Liz Claiborne - $6.79 sale from $30.00 / Necklace - Loft / Pants - 212 Collection / Shoes - Nine West

Outfit #6

Are colored skinnies still okay to wear? I feel really out of it with current style trends... Though I do know that coral is still a great color!

Top - Target - $17.99 / Pants - Old Navy / Shoes - Calvin Klein

That's it for this week! See you back here next week for more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I only have a few outfits for you this time around because I started housesitting for my aunt and it took me a few days to figure out where to take my pictures. Three days of outfits (not very exciting outfits) were too terrible of pictures to post.
I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

I am in love with these new shoes! I'm sure I have a hundred things to wear them with, but this is what made the cut this day.

Top - Target / Belt - from a skirt / Necklace - Stella & Dot / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Tory Burch

Seriously - how cute are these?!? I love the little patent appliques on the burlap background. I had a couple gift certificates to Nordstrom from my birthday, so I used them for these special Tory Burch shoes. :)

Outfit #2

We're at the time of year where there are a lot of Junior League events. This outfit was for our Provisional Graduation celebration. The dress isn't new or anything, but it's only the second time I've worn it.

Dress - Jessica Simpson via Mod Cloth / Jacket - Gap / Flips - Land's End

Outfit #3

This night's Junior League event was a fundraiser/tour at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Good thing I had flats in my car because it was pouring rain and I had to walk a couple blocks to get to the museum and wore those so I wouldn't ruin my heels. Then my feet were killing me, so I changed into them mid-event. :)

Dress - Ralph Lauren / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #4

Now I'm at my aunt's. The pictures won't be on a plain background because I couldn't find the right place to set up correctly, but this will have to do for another couple weeks. :) Just heading to work this day. I have a break from Junior League events until the weekend.

Top - Liz Claiborne / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Marc Fisher

That's it for now! See you back here next week for more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I've got lots and lots of dresses for you this week!
I'm linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

I love this dress, but forgot to wear it all fall. Then I don't like it with tights, so I couldn't wear in during winter. Now that it's spring, I can finally wear it again (for at least a short amount of time)!

Dress - Target / Shoes - Nine West

Outfit #2

My hair looks totally weird in this photo, but the outfit looks better here than the other photo I had. :)

Top - Worthington / Belt - Coach / Pants - CAbi / Shoes - Coach

Here's a close up of the fun details on the shoes.

Outfit #3

I bought this tank recently at Target and I love the details on it, but it is so, so sheer. Who really wants to layer when it's hot out?

Top - Target / Cardi - Target / Jeans - Liz Claiborne / Shoes - Target / $20.98 sale from $29.99

Here's a close up of the shirt. Very cute!

Outfit #4

On Saturday night I went to a fun event with some friends - The Barn Party, which is a big fundraiser put on by an organization called the Denver Active 20/30 Club. It's kind of similar to Junior League, but all men. :) It was a lot of fun with a TON of people. I figured this would be a cute outfit - lace, leather, turquoise... Practically every third girl was wearing the same thing. :( Oh well.

Dress - Jones Wear / Necklace - borrowed from my mom / Belt - Sheppler's - $33.00 / Boots - Laredo via Sheppler's - $90.97 sale from $129.99

Yes, I got new boots. :) I had actually been wanting some new boots with fun embroidery on them and these were on sale!

Outfit #5

Heading to a Junior League event the morning after getting home seriously late from The Barn Party. Even though I couldn't manage doing my hair, I think I look okay. :) And yep, it's all from Target!

Dress - Target / Belt - Target / Shoes - Target

Outfit #6

This dress has a tie sash in the same fabric of the skirt, but I like it better with the structure of a wide belt.

Dress - Tiana B. / Belt - ? / Shoes - Coach

That's it for this week! I'll see you back here next week for more outfits!

What I Wore

Welcome back to another week of what I wore! I've got a ton of outfits for you this week.
Linking up with the Pleated Poppy, of course!

Outfit #1

This was such a great outfit the first time, so I wore it again!

Dress - Jones Wear / Belt - from a skirt / Necklace - Stella & Dot / Shoes  - Coach

Outfit #2

Totally casual at the office. :)

Tank - Target / Necklace - Loft / Maxi - Target - $19.99 / Shoes - Steve Madden

Outfit #3

This shirt is not photographing as bright as it is in reality. But it's bright!

Shirt - J. Crew Factory - $29.99 / Cardi - Target / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Calvin Klein

You can see the fun loose chevron pattern here.

Outfit #4

I finally found a simple navy cardi! It's just from Target, but it's something that's been on my list for a while.

Top - Target / Cardi - Target / Necklace - Tucson Gem & Mineral Show / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Nine West

Outfit #5

I wore this to a friend's baby shower. I decided that the sequins on the tank dressed up an otherwise totally casual outfit enough.

Top - J. Crew / Jacket - Gap / Maxi - Bopeau / Flips - Tory Burch

Outfit #6

My Mother's Day outfit. I was having dinner with my mom and my Grandma Toni and kept my Grandma Ann's memory close by wearing her beads.

Top - AB Studio - Cardi - Apt 9 / Necklace - my Grandma's / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Coach

Outfit #7

It seriously snowed like 6" and these shoes were so not appropriate, but oh well. This shirt should technically be put away for the spring/summer, but I guess it's a good thing it was still out. :)

Top - Jones New York / Necklace - Forever 21 / Pants - Style & Co. / Shoes - Marc Fisher

Outfit #8

I finally got a good picture of the crochet/lace on the front of this cardi! (see below)

Cardi - Apt 9 / Tank - Target / Jeans - Levi's / Shoes - Calvin Klein

Whew! That's it! See you back here next week for more outfits!
